It’s 15 years that I travel around the world, but still now I don’t know how to beat the jet lag. It’s 3 o’ clock in the morning and I’m awaken staring at the wall, Manu is sleeping…. I envy her!
I did such a real dream that it seemed to be reality…the American Dream!
Then I turn on the Tv and I see how people live not so far from my house, because of the earthquake.
Whats’s going on? Where are we going? We did so many plans for the future and we feel so impotent and unprotected sometimes.…
I would like to write thousand of things about my experiences in America but my head is full of thoughts and ideas about what to do for this people…
To start , today together with Manu I’ll search clothes and other things that we don’t use anymore to send to them, is not a lot, but at least I try, on the other hands I can’t change the world alone…
In Misano I’ll use a particular helmet, and then I would like to organize a fund-raising after the race to help AAE onlus’ friends (non profit organisation).
They are in the middle of the earthquake and they had terrible damages, a lot of people were involved and remained homeless, while many rabbits already looking for foster care are in danger because not considered to be domestic animals and so don’t deserve to be saved from rubbles or butchery
Now I try to rest a little but let’s hope to update before Misano with better news..
Congratulations Marco….for both the win and your thoughts about the victims of the earthquake….keep on doing what you ‘re doing…and have fun
