As he had announced after the last race in Valencia, Marco underwent today a surgery on a niggling injury in his left arm. Around noon the Honda Gresini rider was operated by Doctor Gondolini at Villa Serena in Forli (Italy). The surgery run smoothly and Marco tomorrow will leave the hospital.

After the announcement of the agreement between Gresini Racing and Bridgestone Corporation last Monday, today Marco tested his RC211V on Bridgestone tyres at Circuit Ricardo Tormo in Valencia. Gresini Honda rider was very satisfied of the first day of testing and look forward to testing soon the new 800 cc on Bridgestone tyres.
