San Carlo Honda Gresini!!! I’d like to start 2010 by thanking yet again all those who made it possible for me to race in 2009, because if I’m having a relaxed and peaceful winter now it’s only down to them! It’s been a long time since we spoke; I’ve been very busy even if I’ve also relaxed a lot. This year I’ve had a lot of time away from the bike: I haven’t touched a cross bike since 6th December in Sicily. I wanted to take it up again over the last few days but it seemed like we were in the mountains here in Romagna, it has snowed and snowed and snowed. I’ve started in the gym again, it’s such hard work after a long break, and now I really want to get back in the saddle. I can’t wait to discover the new rc212v! At the end of the year I spent almost a week in the mountains at Andalo skiing with friends. There were four couples, myself and Manu (that’s the first time I’ve mentioned my girlfriend), Tonino Cairoli and his girlfriend, Fabio and his girlfriend (Toni’s Sicilian friends) and Matteo Bonini (the legend to his friends – but I won’t tell you why) and his girlfriend. We had a great time skiing and also relaxing a lot in the Spa and getting around on the quads. On the last night we had a quiet meal in the hotel, sang a bit of forgettable karaoke but had a laugh all the same. While we were waiting for our meal we played a mind game for a bit of fun to pass half an hour. The infamous Diablo, Claudio Chiappucci in person, also ate with us! Oh well I can’t spill all the beans! Manuela got the better of all of us on the slopes! Well she has lived at Campiglio since she was 3 so it doesn’t count. I am now officially an ultralight pilot!!! How cool is that!!!I did the course with Matteo, a childhood friend; we were together from nursery to the end of junior school. We were classmates and got up to every trick in the book! Next summer we’d love to tour Italy for a week in an ultralight. We’ll see when it’s closer to the time. Now I’ve got to say goodbye because I’m trying to get a home gym sorted out, a dream I’ve had since I first started training. We’ll speak soon, bye guys!!!
Hi Marco!!!
How are you?I see that you are having some problems with the new rcv212 but I think that you will manage to do some good laps tomorrow. The black version it’s more impressive and I have to say that i had surprise when I heard about the change of your number to 24.Fortunately it was a mistake.
#33 for ever.Good luck for the weekend!!!
