Diary
MotoGp is slowly taking shape slowly. Things are also taking off slowly for me as well. Le Mans was an out of the ordinary race: 30˚ and 5 days of sun in a row is not normal for Le Mans!!!
I raced well, but it’s not enough, I want more!!!
I’m convinced that I can get a [...]
It’s May and MotoGp has just started.
I’m spending a lot of Sundays watching motocross, superbike and cycling, whilst we’re still resting up due to circumstances out of our control (the Iceland volcano).
I don’t like this at all! We started off disastrously, I’ve already said that I was worried after the tests, and then in Jerez [...]
Desperate…Yes, that’s just how I feel at the moment.
It stands to reason that this is only related to my sporting life, because I’m well aware that regardless of this I’m very lucky as life’s real problems are completely different.
Only three hours of tests before the start of the first Gp and myself and the team [...]
There’s still more than a month until the first Gp and just 2 test days!
Something doesn’t add up, we had 22 test days in 2005 and only 6 this year. I can understand the organization’s financial difficulties, but it seems that it’s really a case of penny-wise and pound-foolish.
The tests haven’t really inspired me up [...]
San Carlo Honda Gresini!!! I’d like to start 2010 by thanking yet again all those who made it possible for me to race in 2009, because if I’m having a relaxed and peaceful winter now it’s only down to them! It’s been a long time since we spoke; I’ve been very busy even if I’ve [...]
Now I can really start to relax. MotoGp has finished and I’ve experienced some incredible emotions with Honda. I feel like I’ve regained a lot of self-confidence. I can now relax a bit after the end of the Franciacorta event on 22nd November that I planned and helped organize.
The event was called UNAGARAXLUCA (A Race [...]
I really thought it was possible…
I was after seventh place in the championship and felt that I could battle it out to the end. After disastrous trials I started well, in two laps I had broken away from Spies and De Angelis and was eighth, but then after only three laps something wasn’t right in [...]
There’s an expression in Romagna, that’s not very refined, but says it all: ” I’m getting around just like the s**t down the drains” Hehehe I warned you! Really, I’m travelling in the air, but doing a load of mileage, so does s**t if you think about it, but let’s hope that I smell a [...]
The end of the season is really intense! At this time there’s loads of travelling then you head back to Europe, and in the space of a day, one season ends and the new one starts straight away with the first tests for 2010.
Oh well, let’s talk about other things. Were any of you at [...]
We are nearly at the end of three weeks off.
In fact I’ve been on the go the whole time, but I’ve really enjoyed myself. At the moment I’m at the air field waiting for my weekly dose of flying.
The race in the Lotus was a lot of fun even if it was hard, after all [...]
